COMING SOON · POCKET COUNTER-SURVEILLANCE

watch back.

beacon maps known ALPR camera locations and detects the drones, body cams, smart glasses and BLE trackers broadcasting around you. live on your phone.

power it on, open the app, pair over bluetooth. that's the whole setup, no account, no cloud.

WHAT IT SEES

the stuff pointed at you, on a map

› ALPR / FLOCK
two sources. the map shows known plate-reader locations near you, community-sourced, so it works even when nothing is on the air. the beacon also flags compatible ALPR gear when it actually broadcasts over bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wifi, raven audio sensors, battery units, a camera mid-setup. many current installs backhaul over cellular and stay silent, so treat a live radio hit as a bonus, not a guarantee. how the two differ ›
› DRONES
consumer and public-safety drones broadcasting remote ID overhead. DJI, parrot, skydio, autel and yuneec. remote ID often carries the pilot's location too, so the operator gets pinned on the map, tethered to the drone
› BODY CAMS
body-worn cameras in range of you. a separate opt-in match flags other motorola solutions gear by its vendor prefix, on wifi or bluetooth. it ships off: every one of those hits in our own capture was fixed equipment, not anything worn
› NETWORK CAMERAS
opt-in. wifi cameras broadcasting on a network nearby, even one you're not on. hikvision, dahua, axis, amcrest and reolink, plus consumer brands like ring, wyze and eufy. it matches the maker's hardware address, not the camera, so a hit names the maker it heard and an anker/eufy hit can be another anker product. not every camera, and never the wired or analog kind that emits no radio
› SMART GLASSES
ray-ban / oakley meta, snap spectacles and vuzix, flagged by the vendor IDs in their bluetooth broadcasts. experimental: the meta ID is now confirmed off a capture of three worn pairs, but it fired only twice in 70 minutes, so missing a pair is the likely outcome. how sure we are ›
› BLE TRACKERS
airtags and other trackers riding along with you
› ANYTHING YOU STAR
your own custom category. star any device in your log and the beacon calls it out when it's near, no known signature needed. up to 256, matched on the exact hardware address, so anything that rotates its address (most phones) drops off eventually. the list lives on the beacon itself. how watching works ›
passive listener on WiFi + bluetooth. surveillance gear announces itself over the air; the beacon recognizes those signatures. the detection side never transmits.
two radios inside: bluetooth gets its own dedicated scanner, so scanning never pauses while WiFi hops channels or the phone link talks.
silent gear stays invisible: wired cameras and purely optical systems won't show up.
not an SDR, not a bug sweeper. two bands, known signatures, nothing more.
the motorola-solutions match behind body cams is broad on purpose. if it gets noisy where you are, switch that category off in the app.
a quiet screen means nothing announced itself, not that you're unwatched.

read the code you carry

the app and the firmware are open source. audit what the beacon hears, what the app stores, and where it goes. nowhere, by the way.
